THE
PASTOR'S PEN
THEY
COULD NOT ENTER IN BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF
by
Stephen Benton
Good
morning and welcome to The House of Good News, the BIGGEST LITTLE
Church in Los Angeles. I anticipate
great growth in the final weeks remaining before we leave here and I expect the
growth to consist of Jews and highway and byway residents.
The message is beginning to shift.
No longer am I receiving messages for the Church. The Rapture is almost upon us. You might recall all of those Sundays when I
read from Hebrews 10:25 and remarked that we may not be allowed to assemble
together until the time of the rapture.
I was in the parking lot with that idea but not in the ballpark. What I am beginning to see now is that God
will not continue speaking to the Church until the time of the Rapture. The door is closing on the Church Age and the
messages are focusing on the Tribulation.
The front cover of the book I wrote, "1997...at the last trump,"
states the following: "...God's
final message to His Church!" It
was! His last message to the Church
announced the day of his coming.
The
book also denounced an unbelieving Church.
It was much more than a mere announcement of the day of his coming. Because the Church essentially ignored and
rejected the message announcing the time of the Rapture, God has not given it
any additional messages. Those who did
receive that message by October 1997, and they were only a handful, were warned
by God of the Strong Delusion and the Lie that is about to come. Many who
initially believed the message began to hedge their bets and moved into a "let's wait and see"
mode. Their unbelief will prevent them
from "entering into his
rest."
[Who could have guessed that God would
give an additional 20 years beyond 1997 for the Church to receive this Rapture
message? 1998 was the jubile year that
marked 50 years after the re-establishment of Israel as a nation. It also marked 69 sets of 50 years or 69 Jubiles
from the release of the children of Israel from Egypt and the first Passover
feast day. (see "1997..." Chapter Four available on http://godsfinalmessagetohischurch.blogspot.com/2016/08/chapter-4.html
Not only did God continue
to reveal more information over the past 20 years regarding the events of the Rapture
and the "Strong Delusion and the Lie" that is to come, he sent this message around the globe over the
internet, radio and social media.

Peter 3:9 says that:
" The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing
that any should perish, but
that all should come to repentance."
As time progressed God gave
additional years as possible "windows" to this
prophet for the Lord to
come for his Church on the Day of Atonement as he had foreordained in Leviticus
25. (2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 and finally,
2017) This prophet became the final
last days' prophet who continued to preach God's message telling believers "when"
Jesus was returning to catch his Church away.
The Church however, steadfastly
clung to their misguided belief that "no
man knoweth" that day. Ignoring
the scriptures that prove irrefutably that the passage in Matthew 24:36 has no
connection with the rapture of the Church, they closed their ears to God's
voice and their eyes to his written word and refused to believe that Jesus had
revealed that day to his prophet. Therefore, as this message continues it will
show that God has removed His promise to come on his revealed day and why he
has done so.]
This period we are now entering into
is a very special time, it is the beginning of a transition period. The last one occurred during the days of John
the Baptist and Jesus. The message in
Hebrews where it talks about "To Day" is looming very large now.
"For we are made partakers of Christ, if
we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end:
While
it is said, TO DAY IF YE WILL HEAR HIS VOICE, HARDEN NOT YOUR HEARTS, AS IN THE
PROVOCATION..." Heb 3:14-15"And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Let us, therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." Heb. 3:18-19; 4:1
This passage is paramount today because it shows that God reserves the right to limit the acceptance of a message to a certain day, thus, To (the) Day. The Rapture message fits that category. It is not one of those messages that God is allowing to remain on the shelf of promises while the Church procrastinates over it, making up its mind to believe it or not. It is a "To Day" message. The Church did not receive the announcement of the time of the Rapture during the time allowed by God and now the messages are moving in a new direction. Moreso, I am more aware of that fact while recording on cable. It is clear to me that the message is now being targeted to the Jews. That is something I have never experienced since I have been preaching. My message has always been directed to the Church but lately the burden I have carried for the Church is being lifted and it continues to happen. In the past six programs I have recorded, I have not been led to make one single appeal to the Church. The only remarks I have made with reference to the Church have had negative connotations; statements like, "the Church doesn't believe that God is working from a pre-planned calendar and that the day of his appearing can be known."
I was watching another program on Public Access and the minister was going along the same route that the Holy Spirit led me. God's message is now reaching out to that special group of evangelists who will preach the gospel of the Kingdom into all the world for a witness unto all nations before the end comes, the group known as the 144,000----all Jews.
Last Wednesday we took a casual, surface tour of the book of Isaiah and noted some of the details surrounding the conflict between Antichrist and the Avenger/Messiah, Jesus Christ. We are now moving out of the realm of familiar passages and into new scriptural frontiers. Let me quote a portion from my book that addresses this experience.
"The scriptures are a living entity. The literal meaning of any given text will not change, but the angles and intensity of spiritual light being shed on a passage are constantly changing. This is especially true of prophetic scripture. The very day itself allows prophecy to be seen in a different light as time goes by.
Because we are living in the final years of the last days, most of the dark passages of prophecy are now shining with a brilliance never before seen. As we move closer to the end of the last days the few remaining prophecies that are yet blurred will continue to come into focus."
As I rewrote those words just now, I thought to myself that one would have to be blind not to see that the book, 1997... was not the product of Stephen but a revelation from God Himself. I expect the Holy Ghost to continue in this same direction for the balance of the time we have left together.
