STRINGING THE MESSAGES TOGETHER

STRINGING ALL THE MESSAGES TOGETHER...'from THE HOUSE OF GOOD NEWS DAILY WORD..

In the message God gave us on wed April 6, 2011, God stated His desire for us:
That is fruit.

Luke 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear. Matt.13:12. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. The word hath is interpreted in Matt. 13:9 who hath ears to hear let him hear.  God said His word is most effective in our ears if we hear it first. Our prophet’s job is to make sure we understand the Word.  If we hear Gods word and understand we will bear fruit. We will do what God has called us to in spite of ourselves.  What is fruit?

March 27th of this year God took us to Luke 6:27 "But I say unto you which hear, love your enemies, do good to them which hate you. 28: Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you " etc. God also took us through the beginning of Ephesians with chapter 4 showing Gods direct commandment towards us.
Verse 23 says, "and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."  Ephesians 5:1 "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor. But fornication and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints." Verse 5, "for this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."

The natural response to the quoted scriptures above for a non hearer or selective hearer is: this is a hard saying who can hear it or who can do it? Those who have His Spirit will perform His will. Jesus said: "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."  It’s
impossible to hear God’s word, know it came from God and not recognize that we being men, fall short. We were given a message a while back where the Lord said to present ourselves.  We, through the death of Jesus Christ have been given the right to come to Him boldly.  God said just present yourself to me and I will make you holy.  Every time God’s Word goes forth and we hear it, is the opportunity to let His word find us.  When it hits us say, it’s me oh Lord and allow Him to do what He will to change us.

"Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."  When we allow His word to find and change us we’ve just expressed the easiest form of faith there is.  Faith is meant for things regarding God, particularly His Word. God’s grace is given for the sole purpose of learning how to allow God’s word to have its complete work over us.

Unfortunately, Satan has deceived most of us into believing God’s grace was given to excuse what we as sinners “can’t help,” hence the response to our sin is “God knows my heart,” “I’m only human,” or “He made me this way” this comes from a doctrine currently being preached and it is not okay with God.
God will not tell us to do something that He has not already given us the power to do. An example God gave was when He called Moses in the Mount to deliver Israel from bondage in Egypt. Moses' complaint or excuse to God was that he was slow of speech.  God knew this already when he called Moses yet He sent Aaron anyway because of Moses’ lack of faith or unbelief.  All scripture is written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the age have come. We then should look at God’s call to Moses as an example of our walk with the Lord. When we are first encountered by God there is a response that we cannot do what He has called us to.  When God sent Aaron to meet Moses in the mount Aaron became a help or a crutch for Moses to feel better or gain confidence in the job of speaking to Israel about their delivery on behalf of God.  Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we have been given the Holy Ghost as a ‘help’ to lead and encourage growth in us that we may eventually get an understanding of how to hear God’s word and walk according to it. Moses grew from being dependent upon Aaron to make up for his shortcomings with God, to speaking on behalf of God himself during the showdown with Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.  This is one of many examples that Moses went through. But the point is we will all grow to the state of staggering not, as the Lord said regarding Abraham.

We should reach a level of not being concerned with what we can’t do but what God will do with us if we trust only Him to do it.  Faith requires action. The river Jordan at flood stage would not have moved if the priests didn’t put their feet in first. When you trust God you automatically take on the mindset of what He has said or promised as being accomplished and act accordingly.  It’s time we put on the whole armor of God; be concerned with His agenda and do it; and stop making excuses for ourselves and our behavior. Maybe then we can push the odds of how many of us will remain true to our testimony.
